ALICE PILOTTE (nee AUBERTIN) August 18, 1924 - May 2, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice Pilotte, beloved mother of two, grandmother of four, great-grandmother of five, great-great-grandmother of one, and mother-in-law of one. Born in Transcona, MB in 1924, Alice had a passion for life that affected everyone she met. In a life that saw its share of highs and lows, she always preferred laughing to complaining, smiling to frowning, comforting to scolding. The depth of her patience was shadowed only by the love of her family. She loved to craft, sew, crochet and knit, and was a force when playing cards. She will be deeply missed by anyone fortunate to have had their lives touched by hers. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the wonderful team at St. Boniface Hospital. Your care and concern was very much appreciated. Service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation. Gone from our lives, one so dear, but in our hearts, forever near. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

Oh Alice, we were so lucky that you came into our lives. We will forever miss your contagious laughter and zest for life. I will always remember the many bingo trips and those cold casino runs south of the border. Nothing stopped us from doing what we wanted, not even Mother Nature. You were certainly an inspiration to us with your carefree attitude - may you be dancing up a storm in Heaven. We miss you already. Our deepest condolences to your family. Love Rose & Mike and our family. - Posted by: Rose & Mike (Good Friends) on: May 04, 2013

The world lost a wonderful lady yesterday. Alice was very kind and loving, always willing to listen, and genuinely interested in what other people had to say. She had a sense of humour that couldn't be beat! RIP my friend, until we meet again. - Posted by: Carol Ives (Friend) on: May 04, 2013
