Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANA MARIA KUBIK It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Jana Kubik (nee Repova) on May 6, 2013. Jana was born on January 15, 1943 in Nepomuk, Czechoslovakia. She married Jaroslav Kubik in 1961. They came to Canada on January 19, 1969 with their three children; daughters Jana, Jitka and son Jerry. They escaped political oppression to start a new life in Canada and settled in Winnipeg for 44 happy years. She was so very proud of her three grandsons Oliver, Leon and Raymond. Jana will be sadly missed by the entire Kubik family and many friends they made over the years. The funeral service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in Jana's memory to a charity of one's choice.
