Condolences & Memories (11 entries)

  • Dear Cousins, I am so very sad to hear about Uncle George's passing. I only got to see him a few times in my life, but he stands out in my memories. The last time I saw him and your mom was in 1994 when my mother, Elauria, was staying at your parents' house, and we drove up from Minnesota. She always loved visiting them. May happy memories give you comfort. - Posted by: Dorraine Harris Earnest (Niece) on: May 11, 2013

  • My sympathies to you all. Uncle George was a good man. As a young child, I remember him as a very tall, quiet, and friendly uncle. Your mom made up for the quiet part. I loved them both very much and I'm very sorry. I know the hurt that you're feeling but now they are back together with my Mom and I'm sure the cards are coming out and the laughter is loud. Love you all. Lise - Posted by: Lise Champagne (Niece) on: May 08, 2013

  • Uncle George was a very special person. Always made me feel special everytime I saw him. He was so kind to visit my dad on a very regular basis and made sure to bring Aunt Mimi to his apt to visit on a regular basis. Now he is with the love of his life. I want to wish you my deepest sympathy to all of the family. You are also very special in my heart. Love Diane Champagne - Posted by: Diane Champagne (niece) on: May 08, 2013
