Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY JOSEPH BESSER April 10, 1929 May 9, 2013 Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather surprised us all in the early morning hours of May 9, 2013 by leaving us before he was even ready. At the age of only 84, Henry was truly determined to live forever. He was a man who lived life to the fullest and would have not changed a single moment. He will always live in the memories of the ones he left behind; his beloved wife Nellie, his dearest children Rick (Karen), Joan (Don), Robert and Ronnie. He has also left behind seven grandchildren, Cam, Chad, Chris (Stacey), Candice, Lindsey, Skyler and Grayson, as well as four great-grandchildren, Cole, Nevaeh, Calie and Caden. Henry was an auto body technician for over 30 years and retired to enjoy the rest of his life before freedom 55 at the age of 53. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, 204-949-2000). Dear Nel & Family We will keep you in our thoughts & prayers. It is our prayer that God will be a real comfort to you at this difficult time and in the days ahead. Your Henry was such a special man and was loved by all whose lives he touched. We were truly blessed to have Henry as a part of our life here at Victoria Beach. We will really miss him. Henry was one in a million and we loved him. He has left us with many precious memories. We loved our visits with Henry over a cup of coffee or a cold drink. Just loved to listen to him tell us about his life. And, when he was going through his health issues, he would come over and would ask us to pray for him. Henry never complained and was always content. He always brought us his famous "smoked goldeye" which we loved. We will miss our visits with Henry! He was dearly loved and will really be missed.
