ISABEL WEBSTER (nee BROWN) July 19, 1914 - May 5, 2013 It is with sadness that the family of Isabel Webster announces the passing of their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Fred Douglas Lodge, at the age of 98, with family by her side. Isabel (Bella) was predeceased by her husband of 65 years Henry Donald Webster and survived by their two sons Ron (Marlene), of Winnipeg and Don, of Brandon. Isabel also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Tina (Travis), Ron, Shawn (Jennifer), Trevor (Tiffany), Jeff (Judy), Joey (Cheryl), Jordan, Jeremy, Elena (Steven) and nine great-grandchildren: Jamie, Chelsea, Hope, Nathan, McKenna, Jaidyn, Sophie and Olivia. Isabel will always be remembered as the loving and caring matriarch of the family whose life was totally dedicated to the well-being of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed for her love of life, family and animals. Mom and Nanny, as she was known was a living embodiment of kindness, self-sacrifice, generosity and compassion. A special thank you to Dr. Chung and all the nurses and staff at the Oak Unit of the Fred Douglas Lodge for all their care, attention and support of Isabel (Bella) over the years that she lived there. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or to D'Arcy's A.R.C. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Bella and Harry's son Don used to live next door to me and I saw them in their many visits to their son. "Maggie", their dog was adorable. LOVELY people.
