LAURENT A. CARRIERE It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laurent, a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. Laurent passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface General Hospital on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the age of 85. Laurent will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Antoinette, of 65 years, children Gerald (Bev), Roger (Pat), Lucille (Lionel), Alain (Louise), George, Michel (Lizette), Roseline (Ray), 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grand-children. He is also survived by his brothers Edmond, Aurèle, Clement (Eileen), and numerous other family and friends. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14 at the St. Boniface Cathedral with interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Avenue, Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Grandpa you were an amazing man. I wish I would have spent more time with you in the last while. You will always be in my heart. My sincere condolences on the loss of Laurent. Wish I could be there to give you a great big hug! Know that he no longer suffers and is watching over you from above.
