Our condolences to Gloria, Laurie and families. Margaret was a true friend to all who knew her. Will always remember her beautiful smile, positive attitude and sense of humour. Her visits to the summer cottage at Wanasing Beach and Pine Falls were looked forward to by both mom (Irene) and mom's sister Joan. They had wonderful times together sitting and chatting for hours. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. - Posted by: Cheryl Pichor, Irene Dugard (friends) on: May 23, 2013

Sincere condolences to Laurie and Marnie, Gloria and Graham and families on the passing of your mother and grandmother. I was just getting to know her and now having read her obituary, understand her much more. She really was an amazing lady and will be missed. Just a few days before she passed away, Margaret wanted to go walking outside on a very windy day - it was that day that I realized her true inner strength. I thought it would blow her over, but I held onto her and she pressed on and enjoyed the fresh air. I'm so glad to have shared even the short time at the end of her life with her, helping to make her days brighter. Rest in peace dear Margaret. - Posted by: Mary-Anne Ammeter (Companion Helper) on: May 23, 2013

I knew Margaret as a faithful volunteer at Hospice & Palliative Care Manitoba. Sending warm thoughts to all of Margaret's family from myself as well as Brenda Hearson. Brenda and her husband are currently travelling in UK with good friends Bryan and Karen Glenister from Calgary. They asked that I convey their kind thoughts and condolences to you. - Posted by: Margaret Clarke () on: May 21, 2013

Margaret and my mother were great friends for over 70 years. I loved hearing them chat about their teen years in Pine Falls. Margaret was a great source of comfort to my Mom as she battled cancer the last 2 years of her life and her visits were something my Mom looked forward to eagerly. Margaret passed on May 18, my mother's Birthday. My most sincere condolences to her Gloria and Laurie. It's so hard to lose your Mom. She was a wonderful lady. - Posted by: CINDY EESON ( NEE REIMER) (FRIEND) on: May 21, 2013
