We lived as neighbours for many years in Vivian. I grew up there and later lived there with my wife. Joyce always had a smile, a wave or time for a chat. We moved from Vivian several years ago now, but whenever we saw Joyce she always told us she missed us being next door and the sentiment was mutual. Deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time. Donald Baran - Posted by: Don and Bonny Baran (Neighbours for many years in Vivian) on: May 23, 2013

Joyce always held a special place in my heart, she was a great Auntie and a wonderful friend. I always felt welcome in her home and was always greeted with a smile and a good chat wherever we met. Joyce was a very active member in the Springfield Municipality serving as Councillor for many years. Joyce was a major supporter of Recreation and Early Childhood Education in our community and her drive and commitment was an inspiration. Joyce and Sam worked hard together to create a beautiful garden, yard and home and were happy to share their love of nature and life with friends and family. I feel blessed to have known you! - Posted by: Joanne (Niece) on: May 23, 2013

Mrs. Lawson will be remebered by my family and myself as she has been for many years at halloween as when the kids where young and we showed up at her home in Vivian she would make the kids sing for their treats. they always had a smile because the songs were always Christmas carols. She was also a great councillor for our area and will be sadly missed by the people of Ostenfeld and Vivian. Our family thoughts and prayers go out to her family at such a time of loss. God Bless. - Posted by: Rachel Leonard (Mustard) (neighbour) on: May 23, 2013
