Her beloved husband, John, was with her until she gave up her spirit to the Lord. She was predeceased by her brother Walter (1931), her mother Melanie (1942), her father James (1966), and her brother Morland (2004). Marci is survived by her husband, John, her sisters-in-law Isabell and Stephanie, and her nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly. Marci was born January 20, 1922 in Winnipeg, where she spent her life. Her career was first established as a clerk in the Attorney General's office and later, in the Law Courts. All of Marci's family and friends knew her as a gentle, loving lady who was always very humble, gracious and appreciative. As an accomplished pianist, Marci found contentment in expressing herself through music. Her nieces and nephews always looked forward to visits when Auntie Marci would sit at the piano and play for them'. After a lengthy courtship, Marci married her sweetheart, John, on October 19, 1963. She remained his devoted wife for 50 years. As a couple, they travelled extensively, enjoying adventures abroad. Marci achieved a lifelong dream of visiting the Ukraine to visit extended family and the birthplace of her parents. Sincere thanks goes to the wonderful Deer Lodge staff on Tower 6, whose care and compassion has been unwavering. Marci's gentle and unassuming qualities endeared herself to the dedicated caregivers who became an integral part of her life. A private service has already taken place.
