Although we left Whitegates Cres. 34 years ago, we never forgot Danny and Audrey, who were our neighbours. Danny was a real jokester who never offended anyone. We have fond memories of the great get-to -gethers, while living there and when visiting over the years. Danny (& Audrey) was a favorite of ours, always welcoming us to his home or cottage, we consider them friends more than relatives. Always had a joke or story, always smiling, you left his presence with a smile on your face and a good memory to relate to others. We will miss him very much. As far as we knew there was nothing he couldn't do. - Posted by: Adie & Larry Artibise (Aunt & Uncle (in law)) on: May 26, 2013

Farewell to our beloved, dear "Danilo"~ There is no adequate expression to convey our heartfelt sympathy to Danny’s immediate and extended family. He was truly “a good man”. Besides being a devoted husband and father, Danny was a skilled ambitious craftsman, beloved nephew, an unforgettable legend and a loyal, true friend to everyone who knew him. We share your sorrow and consider ourselves fortunate to have shared a part of this earthly journey with such a dear soul. In addition to over 4 decades of memories shared with family & friends, we will always remember him as he was on our last visit a short year ago, and the wonderful time we enjoyed at their beautiful ‘summer paradise’ in Redditt. He will be sorely missed, but his legacy lives on in the hearts of every life he touched. Until we meet again. Danny was a wonderful neighbour and many fine times were had with him and his family. He was a strong family man. He always was willing to give a helping hand. We remember his most gentlemanly and jovial manner of using colourful language without offending anyone. He will be missed. - Posted by: Gary and Pat Hamilton (former neighbours) on: May 25, 2013
