ELISA AUDETTE March 30, 1943 - May 24, 2013 Peacefully, on May 24, 2013, at the age of 70 years, Elisa passed away at Actionmarguerite - Foyer Valade after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Joanne (Raymond Guay), son Paul (Kelly Desrochers) and her dearly loved grandson Lukas. She will also be sadly missed by her stepsons John (Rhonda) and Ken by Pineau and her step-grandchildren Brianne, Ky, Chloe and Ozzie; one brother Gabriel (Yvette), three sisters, Dolores (Alfred St. Godard), Marie-Anna (Albert Berard) and Rose Marie (Bernard Manaigre), two sisters-in-law, Evelyne and Diane and one brother-in-law Roland Lallier, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Elisa was predeceased by her mother Omerine in 1953, her father Oliva in 1983, and by her seven brothers: Denis, Guy, Rosaire, Marcel, René, Jean Paul and Armand; two sisters, Jeanne d'Arc and Antoinette, two sisters-in-law Thérèse and Carmelle and partner Ozzie Pineau. Elisa graduated from nursing (LPN) at age 40 and loved her work. She was helping others in this field right till this last year. Elisa was a very devoted grandmother and cherished her time spent with them. Lukas was the light of her life. She also enjoyed travelling to hot destinations with family and friends. She felt very blessed to have such great friends and family surrounding her through good and tough times. Special thanks to the staff of Action-marguerite - Foyer Valade and Health Sciences Centre for their quality of care. Her celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. J'ai rencontré Elisa lors d'un séjour au Mexique il y a 4 ans. Nous avons tout de suite sympathisé et sommes devenues de bonnes amies même si je vis loin, au Québec. Nous sommes d'ailleurs retournées au Mexique ensemble en 2010. J'appréciais beaucoup l'amitié d'Elisa, toujours gentille, accueillante, patiente. Je suis bouleversée par son départ, elle est partie si vite. Mes condoléances à ses enfants. My condolences to her step children and grandchildren.
