  • I worked with Roy at Buck's Auto. Back then all of us at work were like family. Roy would be first there. Fast asleep in his truck. (only because he was up at sunrise). I will always miss when all of us got to work in the morning. Coffee, tea and a smoke. Shoot the shit, and off to work. That guy, strong worker. Every Monday, cleaning up the yard. F@&$ were we ever dirty at the end of the day. Good days work.....Smart, knew how to fix anything. He was always working on something. Roy always had a story to tell me. And I always listened. I learned a lot from him. Thank you Roy for always being kind to me, and just being a friend. Love Shanna - Posted by: Shanna Solodky (Friend) on: Jun 04, 2013

  • Uncle Roy, you are one of those people that were a huge part of my life. Thanks for the great times in the "old house," hanging out in the garage & snowmobiling. You had a heart of gold & were a great man. You were a "man's man" & that's what made you one of kind. I will never forget you and I will always remember everything you taught me. Love always Mike - - Posted by: Mike Krahn (Uncle / god father) on: Jun 03, 2013

  • We spent many years visiting Clare and Dorothy on the farm. My favourite memory was being able to go down two steps to enter the attic and the wonder of a home that had front and back stairs to the second floor. The cousins spent much time outdoors enjoying farm life. - Posted by: Betty Persian (cousin) on: Jun 02, 2013

  • I worked with Roy from 1974 to 1992 and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. He was a hard worker and I truly enjoyed our daily conversations. So glad to hear that he finally found happiness with someone. RIP my friend as you will surely be missed. ♥ - Posted by: Noreen McKercher (former co-worker) on: Jun 02, 2013
