Carolyn was and Still is my aunt. I wish I could say that I remember my childhood not all this stuff that we used to do but I definitely remember the day she brought my uncle Brad home. My uncle is wearing this university sweater that said UCL it on it so I called him ucla. 1 year for Christmas my aunt made me a photo album of pictures of her and I doing stuff playing in the leaves my mom and dads backyard, going to the park or me seeing her off at an airport. I wish I could say it was those things I remember I don't. My most vivid and my most fun memory of her Was the day before my grandmother minni plett died. I had gone to the personal care home to say goodbye to my grandmother and my aunt was sitting with her. I sat on the edge of the hospital bed and kissing my grandmothers forehead and rubbing noses with her and I said hi grandma its me, For the first time in a couple weeks my grandmother opened her eyes and smiled and looked at my face. Carolyn said to me that day that my grandmother remembered who I was. I don't need to know that Carolyn remembered who I was because I know she did. It is I Who wishes that I remember everything we did together. She will forever live in my heart and in my memories. I will love you Forever. I know the pain will go away at one point. But what is the most beautiful about you, Is you are in heaven with Grandpa And grandma. But the best thing of all is that you were home in the arms of Jesus And you are no longer in pain. Love you And I will miss you forever - Posted by: sherryl peters (niece) on: Jun 01, 2013

Carolyn is a dear friend and will be missed. I am standing on the sea shore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then someone at my side says “There, she is gone!” “Gone Where?” Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear the load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says: “There, she is gone!” There are other eyes watching her coming and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: “Here she Comes!” — Henry Van Dyke - Posted by: Marlene Rempel (friend) on: Jun 01, 2013
