ARMAND LECUYER Tuesday, May 28, 2013, Armand passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Action Marguerite Personal Care Centre (Tache Centre). He was 83 years old. Armand was predeceased by his parents Michele and Rosa Lecuyer, brothers Hiram, Toby, Lucien, Harvey, and Robert; his two sisters Nora and Georgia. Armand was a kind and gentle man. He was friends with all his neighbours. He was closest to his brothers and sisters, with whom he maintained lifelong contact. But, nieces and nephews were also always welcome for a visit. And visits he got because he was always interesting to talk to. Armand shared his quick sense of humour with all his guests. Armand will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to thank the doctor, nurses and support staff on 4ABC at Action Marguerite for their dedication, kindness and care generously given to Armand during his stay there. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons St. Winnipeg. No flowers, thank you. A kind and easy going man, we shared many long nights of playing cards with Mom and his Brother, Uncle Robert, Aunt Bev. The evening ran into the wee early mornings of the next day!! They were all troopers to stay up so late enjoying something they love doing. After those short breaks for a time to eat, they were all ready for another round!!It was good times.
