PETER KOLOCHUK The family announces the sudden passing of Peter Kolochuk following a brief illness, on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Dauphin Hospital. The youngest of seven children, Peter was born May 13, 1932 to parents Harry and Nellie Kolochuk in Moose Bay, MB. He attended school in both Oak Brae and Moose Bay. Peter married Anne Fediuk on October 19, 1957. Peter and Anne moved to Winnipeg where they resided for 45 years. Peter successfully ran Kolochuk Construction Ltd. with pride of ownership. Peter will be sadly missed by his loving wife Anne of 56 years, daughter Diane (Ken) and grandson Jeremy (Jenn) as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his son-in-law George and many Kolochuk/Fediuk family members. In retirement, Peter's passion was commercial fishing. Anne and Pete relocated to the Dauphin area to fulfill his retirement plans. He enjoyed bingo and gardening in his later years. A private service, led by Father Isadore for immediate family only, will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
