ANN DAVIDSON (nee STEWART) September 26, 1924 May 24, 2013 The family of Ann Davidson are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Left to cherish mom's memory are her son Barry (Deb), daughter Bev (Ron) and "Nanny's boy" Josh, her grandson. Mom was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2011, her sister Margaret in 2009, and her mom Helen in 1974. Mom was a homemaker for most of her life, dedicating herself to raising a family. Mom worked at Jeannie's Bakery in the early years, and many times would recount how she added extra lemons into the recipes, without permission of course, but to the delight of the boss and the customers. Mom worked at Eatons also, riding the elevators all day as the elevator operator. Mom was an avid baker and cook, much to the delight of her family. Mom loved animals, she loved to sing, loved music, and a good cup of tea. Mom wasn't afraid to try new things, but was always most comfortable with routine. A free spirit at heart, strong, and beautiful. Mom married Dad in 1951, and shared 59 beautiful years together. Mom had spent the past two years at Oakview Place, Winnipeg. She was often admired for her beautiful style, which she took pride in. Mom was a beautiful lady with a kind heart and was the pillar of strength in our family. Mom, we weren't prepared for you to leave us so soon, but we know you are with Dad now, as you have always been.
