EVA SCHELLENBERG 1934 - 2013 On Friday, May 31, 2013 Eva Schellenberg of Steinbach, MB passed away at the age of 78. Eva leaves to cherish her memory five children: Lorraine (Charles Koop), Bob (Sylvia), Helen (Bill Briggs), Joan (Norman Poetker), and Tina (Andy Goossen) as well as 15 grandchildren and their spouses and 14 great-grandchildren. Her husband Jake and their infant son Larry predeceased her. A funeral service will be held at the Steinbach Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422 Main Street on Thursday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing at the church prior to the service. Interment at Heritage Cemetery. If friends so desire donations may be made to Anna's House, B-11 Hwy 12 N, Steinbach, MB R5G 1T1.   • we were so sorry to hear of her passing as she was such a lovely and kind heated lady with a smile that would light up the room. We always looked forward to visiting with her and Jake whenever we came to Steinbach, especially sitting around her warm kitchen table eating her world famous (in our view) sauerkraut and Mennonite sausage soup.
