TREVOR DONALD KNIGHT May 13, 1959 - May 31, 2013 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of a loving father, son and brother. Trevor is survived by his son Graeme, daughter Madison and their mother Jackie of Winnipeg; parents Wayne and Phyllis Knight of Brandon; brother Trent (Tyler, Evan and Keaton) of Winnipeg; sister Kylee and Les Douglas (Ashton, Devin and Kira) of Miami, Manitoba; father Don Venables of Brandon; aunts, uncles and cousins. Trev was born in Hamiota, Manitoba and lived the majority of his life in Winnipeg. He has worked his whole life in the printing industry since graduating from Sturgeon Creek Collegiate in 1977. He loved any sports, particularly golf, curling and darts - both as a participant and a spectator. He was an avid supporter of his children's activities and was very proud of their many achievements. He loved all children but especially his own and his life centered around them. A private family interment will take place at a later date. • I met Trevor through Adventures social club. He was always a very kind friend supportive friend to all of us and although I just heard of his passing yesterday I wanted to let his family know how sorry I was to hear the news. Trevor was always a bright, positive and smiling face at any function. His joy and pride when speaking of his family and boasting of his children and their accomplishments was evident to all of us. He will be truly missed. - Posted by: Patti Danyleko (Friend from Adventures) on: Sep 14, 2013

  • I knew Trevor for nearly 40 years, sad that the years seemed to pass and never made enough effort to stay in touch. I just found out today, late as usual and not having contact information. I want to wish strength for Phyllis and Wayne, especially my old friend Trent as they move forward. I can't imagine how difficult things can be.... I hope Trevor's children have the best memories and support that will always keep their Dad's spirit alive!! I am very sad for your loss. - Posted by: Clark Baldwin (Friend) on: Jun 10, 2013

  • At first Trevor was a buddies big brother with great advice like don't hit those garbage cans and other good advice that was also ignored. Later on Trevor was in his last years at Sturgeon and I was in my first years but we played together in the school's jazz band. Every set had a Trevor drum solo that even if it went long the instructor would never give him the hook because it wouldd jack up the audience every time and made us all look good. You're gone too soon my friend. - Posted by: Marvin Retzlaff (Friend) on: Jun 05, 2013
