Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD KRAUSHAR April 3, 1927 - June 3, 2013 Surrounded by family, Richard passed away peacefully on Monday, June 3, 2013 at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg. Richard was born in Ranischau, Poland and immigrated to Canada at age three with his parents. He grew up in the Beausejour area and lived the remainder of his life in Winnipeg. Richard is survived by his wife Katharina of almost 65 years and by his brother Gordon (Arleen) and sister Rosemarie Russell (Bill). He is also survived by his five children, Wayne (Haiyan), Dennis (Maryann), Diane Voss (John), Bonny Ball (Tom) and Glen (Claire) and by his 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Richard was predeceased by his brothers Karl and Ernie and sisters Dillie Turner and Hilda Schollenberg. Richard was a faithful member of Redeemer Lutheran Church for many years and of First Lutheran Church for the past 12 years. He enjoyed his many family get togethers, music, camping, square dancing, lawn bowling, swimming, and later in his life he loved travelling. The family would like to thank the many dedicated home care workers who assisted with Richard's care over the past two years, and the staff at Middlechurch Home over the final several weeks. A celebration service of Richard's life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
