Brenda and I became friends when she joined my support group almost two years ago. She quickly won my heart and became one of the best admins, she helped countless others in times of need with loving concern and helpful ideas. I had been missing her and was emailing her with no response, I miss her terribly...I know that she is at peace and I hope that her family, especially her daughter know how very much she loved them. - Posted by: Debra McCawley-O'Brien (friends) on: Aug 31, 2013

My dearest Brenda, here it is July 23rd and I have just found out. I was looking for your phone number tonight and wanted to call you. I could not find it so I went to your Facebook page and with some digging found out you had passed. I am so sorry my dear friend. I know how much you have struggled and how much hurt you have endured! My heart is broken, but I know now that you are finally at peace. We have known each other for so many years. Kelly was young and Amber babysat her. We spent time together going out for tea or coffee and sharing our thoughts. You were a kind and gentle person and deserved a lot of love and kindness. God hated to see you suffer any more so He gave you your wings so you could fly freely with no more pain or sorrow. I will love you forever and hope that you RIP Sweet Angel. - Posted by: Colleen McCombe (Friend) on: Jul 23, 2013

Dearest Brenda you were part of our family for ten years on this earth and you will be part of our family in heaven with Pops. You will be sadly missed ny niece Emma and yor nephews Alex Ashton and the littlest of all the Xmen. You had many family and friends here who loved you very much and will miss you terribly. We remeber when we met you it was Thanksgiving of 2001, the adults all went to see Roy Leblance perform Elvis which you enjoyed a lot. You are with the angels in heaven now as well as Pops. He will watch over you as you will watch over all of us with him. I cannot think of 2 better angels to help lead the way for the rest of us. You are free of pain and suffereing, after the body on earth is just an earthly shell that only controls the spirit of which yours is free now. We will meet again of that we are sure. You are gone but never forgotten. We love you very much. From the Hadleys, The Rathiers, the Rathiers in London and esecially me Jeff your hubby. Good bye Boo sleep now time to rest you have earned it. - Posted by: The Rathier,Hadley Families (inlaws and cousins uncles aunts from london Ontario) on: Jun 12, 2013

You are now free to soar among the angels. There is no pain or suffering. Even though we were apart I will never forget all you did for me and my family. You are gone from this world but you will never be forgotten. God saw that you were in pain and he took you home. You are in heaven with My Dad he will watch over you. I will always LOVE you and will never forget you. SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE XOXOX - Posted by: Jeff Rathier (Husband) on: Jun 11, 2013

This woman is loved by a stranger (me) for giving birth to a beautiful, kind hearted daughter my dear friend Kelly Fidler. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have her as a friend today. I own a blanket she made and its become more precious to me now. Her soul will rest easy now. <3 - Posted by: Brittany Savard (friend to her daughter. ) on: Jun 10, 2013

Brenda and I were childhood friends in Gillam, MB. I loved sleepovers at her house where we would stay up late to watch Elvis Presley movies. In the spring we would play in the ditch by her house and get "soakers" in our rubber boots and some of our first teenage parties were in her basement. Over the years, Brenda and I always kept in touch through letters, visits in Winnipeg and most recently facebook as the miles have spread between us. I am deeply saddened to hear of Brenda's passing and my thoughts are with you Diane and Jeff during this difficult time.
