SYLVIA ALEXANDRA KOROBCHUK It is with immeasurable sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on a sunny afternoon. Mom left us unexpectedly to be reunited with Dad after a very brief illness on Monday, June 3, 2013. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Harry, her mother Mary, her father Klemente and her brother Dymetro. Mom will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind two daughters, Carol Rousseau (Denis) and Joan Pokorny (Roland); as well as grandchildren Simone Tetrault (Rene), Suzanne Ward (Greg), Kelly Pokorny and Scott Pokorny; and great- grandchildren Britney, Devin, Colin and Justin. Sylvia was a kind and gentle person who made friends that she kept for a lifetime. Mom was a homemaker who spent her time raising her children and keeping a happy home. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and her spirit will live on in them. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Honorary pallbearers will be Denis Rousseau, Roland Pokorny, Rene Tetrault, Greg Ward, Scott Pokorny and Devin Ward. To all who have a Mother, Please treasure her with care, For you will never know the heartache felt, When you find she isn't there. "We will all love and miss you forever.
