Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACOB (JAKE) VOTH August 28, 1938 - June 8, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that Jake's family have to say farewell. Jake passed away with his daughters by his side at Seven Oaks Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Karolina, parents Henry and Anna, and sister Annie Dueck. He will be remembered by his daughters Rosemary (Paul) and Lorraine (Kelvin) and siblings Henry (Helen), Tina (Pete), Peter (June) and Neil (Marlene). Also special friend Karin and many nieces and nephews. Sincere thanks to Nurse Barb and staff on 5 U 5 for their compassionate care. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Pastor Norman Voth officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jake's memory to a charity of your choice. 204-586-8044

Went to school with Jake for several years and remember him being the best natural athlete we had that I knew. He was always at the head of his class in his marks. I had not seen Jake for many years and want to express my condolences to the families left behind for the loss of a good person. My condolences and prayers to the family. It is always too soon. As is with the Faith, it is not goodbye, but Aufwiedersehn. He served the German community well in all that he did and he will be greatly missed. In life we will remember Jake, Es War Einmal (Once upon a time), but when one has gone before us, they will be waiting to happily greet us, when our time comes to leave this world. I just want to take this time to give my condolences to all of Jake's family!!! He was always nice to me and always asked how I or my family was doing.
