Barry was only in my life for a year but i'm lucky to have known him. Being from the east coast myself, we both loved to talk about how great it is back there. He was also an animal lover and i always appreciated how good he was to his cats and how much he genuinely loved them. He inspired me to buy a guitar and start taking lessons. It's something i always wanted but felt i was too old (in my 30's) to start. Barry was great to have a conversation with, we had a million talks about a million things. I'm so sorry for his family but happy at the same time that he had children. R.i.p. Barry - Posted by: Jennie (Friend) on: Sep 16, 2013

Kaaz was the word. Icisnizz was hyping Barry's travel to meet and hopefully be a part of our productivity. We never got the time to Jam ever. Both of us have a few kids and it was put off and off after our brother Brad passed. I remember him so serious about his passions icis layed around. My sadness is that I didn't bug him enough.. Life always got between our ability to plan and execute.. By definition of brother, I adopt you into my heart as one. I'm proudly able to admit I shared a culture, friend and passion with you and only wish we had a chance to make it work. I'll listen to your guitar in my heart. AN ELEPHANT NEVER FORGETS! One love and blessings to your beautiful cats. I know you were man to provide for the happiness they gave you. I've seen it in your eyes. You'll live forever in Winnipeg's abstracts book of greats. Rest child. Solution never the answer. ONE LOVE! - Posted by: Conflict (Fellow Elephant underdim abstracts) on: Sep 02, 2013

I met Barry through Bird construction as well, he was someone I looked forward to seeing and working with every day. I didn't get to know him as well as I would have liked but I respected him greatly, both as a co-worker and a friend. I was blessed by his influence and even more so through his music. He will be greatly missed; him and his family are in my prayers. R.I.P. Barry. - Posted by: Aaron Ryan (Fellow employee and friend) on: Jun 16, 2013
