EDPHAT DORGE Edphat's dedication and faithfulness to praying brought him to eternal life. Surrounded by his family, Edphat Dorge passed away June 16, 2013. He leaves to cherish the love of his life Simone (née Pelland), his wife of 61 years, his children André, Evelyne Olivier, Louise (Ron Poitras), Jacqueline (Raoul Gauthier), Rita (Paul Groleau), Daniel (Eileen), Paul-Emile (Madelaine), Jocelyne (Jacques Musso), 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Edphat will also be missed by his sister Annette Cadieux, his sisters / brothers-in-law Anne Dorge, Ida Dorge, Joyce Pelland, Maria Berard, Olive and Roland Fontaine, Julienne and Erich Filz and Edouard Pelland, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, close friends and neighbours. Edphat was predeceased by his parents Edphat and Egidia (née Campeau) Dorge, his brothers Emilien O.M.I., Télesphore, Alphée and his sister Soeur Noëllia F.D.L.C., his brothers-in-law Thomas Cadieux, Siméon Pelland and Raymond Berard. The family would like to thank Dr. Adulrehman, Dr. Donald Duerkson as well as the Palliative Care team especially nurses Kate, Corinne, and Germaine. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 20 at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road in Windsor Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to a charity of one's choice.
