Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Dear Sarah, Paul, Pat & Family, I had been thinking about Kathleen for several months & thought I would give her a call. I was absolutely shocked this AM to find out she had passed away. I know we didn,t speak often but when we did it was like we had never missed a beat. I guess that is what true friendship means. Words can not describe how I am feeling while I write this note. Kathleen & I grew up together at Victoria Beach. I spent soooo much time at Kathleen,s family home in EK. Kathleen, parents were special people in my life too. I did get to know several of Kathleen's special girlfriends from EK. Sarah & Pat were Kathleen's life. Sarah, so often I see a tall beautiful blonde girl & I wonder if it is you. If you are reading this please know I think of you often & hope you are doing ok. Pat, thank you so much for the conversation today. Take good care of yourself. My sincere condolence to all of you who were special in Kathleen's life. - Posted by: Gaylen Schott (Childhood friend ) on: Mar 04, 2017

  • I was so so sorry to read of Kathleen's passing. We lived next door to Kathleen and Paul when they were growing up on dunrobin.. Our parents were long time friends. I babysat Kathleen and Paul for a number of years. Whenever we chatted with her mom and dad in later years they talked lots about Kathleen and her daughter Sarah. • Kathleen was one in a million. it didn't matter how hard your shell was....she broke through it and wasn't afraid to call you on your own crap and you loved her for it! She came to be our bookkeeper 5 years ago she said she wasn't going be permanent as it was quite far from her place but we won her over she stayed with us and we looked forward to our monthly sessions with her as we called her our Therapist!! We will miss our subway lunches and chats! She will be dearly missed!! Thanks for leaving your footprints on our hearts forever!!
