Aunt Shirley, I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Doug. I will always have great memories of him at Christmas, gambling, drinking, playing tricks on others, dressing up as Santa Claus for Xmas for the kids, giving Jessica coal for Xmas and making her cry.....I will cherish these memories. Take care aunt Shirley, miss you and hope you are doing okay! My thoughts are with you, Ben, Christine and the grand babies. xoxo - Posted by: Kerrie Dutchak (nee Payjack) (Niece) on: Jul 03, 2013

I was saddened and shocked to hear about Doug's passing, I grew up with Doug in Morse Place we were involved in a few capers together. When ever we met we would talk about them and laugh he was quite a character, i considered him a friend and i'll miss him. One of my favorite verses in the Bible is "To be absent from the body is to be with the lord" Doug's in good hands now. - Posted by: ken Barnett (Long time friend) on: Jun 29, 2013

Hi Shirley and family. Wishing you my deepest sympathy. The Lord cares about every detail of your life and knows each hurt in your heart. The things that cause you pain are not "small" to Him. They are important and He cares about each one of them. May you feel the healing touch of Jesus and every thought and prayer from friends who truly care. - Posted by: lenore tyler (friend) on: Jun 23, 2013
