  • My sincerest condolences to all of you. Auntie Joan was a wonderful, gracious, generous soul. I loved being in her presence and her light will be missed and longed for by all that were fortunate enough to have known her. - Posted by: Christina Knowles (Niece-in-law) on: Jun 26, 2013

  • Joan came to our facility. For a short stay within Maples Personal Care Home, she became very close to staff, she's very quiet, does not demand for anything. Very sweet lady. Does not complain, you have to ask her if she needs help. We always tell her that she is so tall and her height is for a beauty queen, and the she would respond to us "but something is missing - the beauty part". so the conversation will continue and at the end we all have a good laugh. We will miss you. and i am sure your family misses you but i would say "You are in a better place" - Posted by: carmelita opida (caregiver) on: Jun 26, 2013
