DORIS CLAIRE MAY SKOGAN (nee HOOPER) 1931 - 2013 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Skogan on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Grace Hospital. Survived by sons Robert (Jeanie), Lawrence (Barbara), Jack (Ruth), and daughter Margie (Robert Marsh), 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sisters Dorothy, Noella (Nick), Lillian (John), brother Tom, and sister-in-law Alma Duval. Also survived by extended family. Predeceased by her spouse Lloyd on April 7, 2012, parents Richard and Valerie Hooper, sisters Rose, Beatrice, Alice, and brothers William and Patrick. Doris was born and raised in Hearst, Ontario and was living at the Inwood Manor at the time of her death. Thank you to the Grace Hospital ICU and Teulon Hospital staff for their wonderful care provided for mom and family during this difficult time. Thank you Dr. Loudon and staff for your compassion and care you provided mom during the years she was your patient. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Inwood Community Hall.   • Aunty Doris was one of the sweetest persons who always had a smile. Her laugh was infectious which warmed your heart. We will always cherish the time we spent with Doris and Lloyd. They were great people and a great couple. The stories and laughs we shared will be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family. Take comfort in your happy memories.   • My Aunt Doris was great person. I'll never forget her great laughter. My last in touch with her was this past Christmas when I received a xmas card here in United Kingdom from her and a letter also. Uncle Lloyd will welcome her with open arms as they were a great couple together. Memories of going west to vist them when young and never a boring minute with her.
