PATRICIA MERYL JORGENSEN July 14, 1943 - June 23, 2013 Unexpectedly, on Sunday, June 23, 2013, our mom, Patricia Meryl Jorgensen passed away. Pat is survived by her mother Elsie Priemski; son Eric Jorgensen; daughter Michelle Turner (John); daughter-in-law Michelle Champagne; siblings Brian Priemski (Shirley), Linda Priemski, Brenda Walter (Michael) and Barbara VanWart (Mark); dearly loved grandchildren Alexandra, Kevin, Justin (Sara), Michael and Sarah; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father; Michael; special companion Wayne; and nephew Sean. On July 14, 1943 Pat was born in Montreal, Quebec, to Elsie and Michael Priemski. The family soon moved back to Winnipeg where she than spent the rest of her life. She worked at MTS for decades working in various roles, ending her career in management. Pat made many friends there and continued these friendships after retiring. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with friends, reading, knitting, cooking and curling. She especially enjoyed any and all time with her special companion Wayne, family, grandkids, best friend Barb, and her gang the Red Hatters. Our Mom was known as a great listener, confidante and supportive person for so many people. We are so blessed to have had her in our lives for as long as we did. We will miss her presence, humour and love. In compliance with Pat's wishes, there will not be a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association. • Wow- I am moved by all the comments about my Mom- she really impacted a lot of people. As Eric mentioned, her death is a tremendous shock- I came up to Winnipeg from Texas July 3-8. It still seems surreal that I can't pick up the phone and call her. Thank you all for sharing memories of our mom. - Posted by: Michelle Turner (Jorgensen) (Daughter) on: Jul 23, 2013
