Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryED LANGLOIS 1940 - 2013 After a long and courageous battle with cancer, we are sad to announce the passing of Ed Langlois on June 29, 2013 at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gisele and their children Lorraine (Real) Roy, Joe (Kris) Langlois and their grandchildren Briannon, Reed and Jamie. He also leaves to mourn his sister Florence, his brother David, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his parents Lucien and Angela Langlois, his parents-in-law Hector and Solange Normandeau, his brother Joe, his sisters-in-law Sharon and Francine, and his brothers-in-law Don, Joseph, Olivier and Conrad. Ed was born in Marine Lake, SK on December 24, 1940. He was the third of four children. The family moved to Kelvington, SK in 1944 and then to Marchand, MB in the early 1950s. It is here that he met his wife Gisele. They were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on September 14, 2013. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ our Savior Roman Catholic Church in Steinbach. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. Special thanks to Dr. Gingerich, Dr. Reimer and the staff at CancerCare and the Bethesda Hospital.
