She passed away peacefully on July 1, 2013 at Seven Oaks General Hospital, at the age of 75 years. She will be remembered always as the beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Narding Gervacio. She is survived by her children, Nanding (Arlyn) Gervacio, Evelyn (Juanito) Malabuyoc, Roland (Susan) Gervacio, Sally Borja, Ardie (Liz) Gervacio, Amy (Cesar) Lorenzo, her grandchildren John, Erica, Steph, Jenny, Jelyn, Ronald, Roseanne, Ryan, Sherelyn, Arwayne, Ace, Ainzel, Caylin, Colin and Calvin, and her sister-in-law Esther Gervacio. Anita was born January 27, 1938 in the Philippines and later immigrated to Canada with her family on July 27, 1985. Lamay will be held on Thursday and Friday, July 4 and July 5, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's of Padua, 250 Burrin Ave. No longer in our life to share but in our hearts she'll always be there.
