Big brother Bill, You left us so suddenly, and unexpectedly. Though the sadness overshadows every thought, I can't help but think of the great reunion between him and all our family on the other side; his beloved wife, Florence, our parents, our sister and brothers, my son, Curtis, and sooo many more. Blessed be, my big 6'2 brother...we'll talk about you, love you, never forget you, and we'll be so excited to see you again...only thing is...who'll pick me up and carry me around so high in the air now....? Love, comfort, and peace to all who loved Bill. - Posted by: Patricia Thomson (youngest sister) on: Jul 06, 2013

Uncle Billy you were always the one with a smile, a big laugh and a big hug. You will always be in the hearts of your family and friends and walk with them throughout their lives until you meet again. Blessings and prayers to your family. - Posted by: Sharon (Niece) on: Jul 06, 2013

It was nice to have neighbors like Bill and Joyce at the Campground. We will never forget the good times we had sitting around the fire and singing good Old Country tunes. Going to truly miss you Bill and all our Condolences to Joyce and his Family. R.I.P Billy! - Posted by: Miami Campground (Friend) on: Jul 05, 2013

I met Bill when we were in school then when he married into the family. He was always laughing & teasing everyone around him. When he would greet you it was with a bear hug & a sloppy wet kiss followed by smart comment. (it didn’t matter whether he saw you last week or five years ago, it was always the same) He was a good father & grandfather & will be truly missed. Our deepest sympathy to Kerry & Diane and the rest of the Hanslip family - Posted by: Bernice Smith (Cousin) on: Jul 05, 2013
