JOYCE LILLIAN TURNER Peacefully on June 28, 2013 at Grace Hospital, Joyce passed away at the age of 92 years. Left with many fond memories are her loving husband Edward, married for 72 years; son Terry (Lorraine), granddaughter Debra (Ron) Stenger, Travis and Chantal, grandson Tim (Mona), Mandy and Samantha; daughter-in-law Marg, grandson Daryl and granddaughter Lori (Mike) Pokornik, Connor and Hailey. She was predeceased by her parents, two sisters, Pat Fossay and Mildred Bowdery, and son Dick. Joyce resided in Headingley most of her life and family activities were important to her. She was a community minded volunteer, assisting in such activities as teaching Sunday School, 4-H, and contributing in the establishment of the original library in Headingley. She was also active in Charleswood Art Club and created many works treasured by her family. Along with her husband Edward, she enjoyed many years of Antique Car Club functions forming lasting relationships. The family extends their gratitude for the care Joyce received by the health care team on 5N at the Grace Hospital.
