Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE LILLIAN DAVIS (KERNAGHAN) Peacefully on July 2, 2013 our treasured mother passed away at age 92, at River East Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert, five sisters and two brothers. She was a loving mother to Judy (Bill) Jensen, and Shirley (Bill) Quiring and her seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Alice was born in the Cartwright, Manitoba area. Our loving mom devoted several years of her life fostering many children. She had a creative hand for floral arrangements and made many for her friends. She loved animals and had a special passion for horses. We want to thank the staff and nurses for their care and compassion. As per her request a cremation has taken place and a private family service was held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society or the Canadian Diabetes Foundation. Our Hearts Are Broken. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111

Auntie Alice was a wonderful lady, who cared for me when I was 4yrs old. I loved her so very much and Uncle Herb too. He was a strong man and made me feel very safe in an uncertain world. I was a flower girl for Shirley and Bill's wedding. I wore a beautiful red velvet dress. Auntie Alice kept that dress and displayed it on a Large Wendy Walker doll. I saw Auntie Alice many times as a teen and several times as a young adult she would always treat me to lunch. I loved her so much. I hadn't seen Aunt Alice for many, many years unfortunately, but as a child I was very fond of her. I remember her always being so kind to me when I was a little girl.
