DAVID REGINALD WILKES December 14, 1939 July 5, 2013 David passed away at Charleswood Care Home on Friday, July 5, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Ethel Wilkes and son Todd Hogg. David is survived by his daughter Paula (David) Sitarik, granddaughters Reed and Bryn, brothers Gordon (Val), Norman (Sylvia), sister Vivian (Murray) Cook and many nieces and nephews. Service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home on Friday, July 12, 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Dear "Uncle Dave", I was sorry to hear of your passing. As a regular visitor and sometimes house guest to our family home, I came to appreciate your methodical ways. I always enjoyed your stories and tales in that deliberate cadence that made one think the end was near, only to learn that that there was more to come, which ultimately made me laugh without failure.
