Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND PAUL THEVENOT Peacefully at the Grace Hospital on Friday, July 5, 2013, Mr. Raymond Thévenot of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away at the age of 81 years. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Noeline (née Marsolais); five children, Danny (Jacquie), Roger (Shirley), Doreen, James (Judy), and Bob (Barb). Grandchildren; Kyla, Aileen, Aidan, Karen, Nicole, Adam, Deidra (John), Breanne, Bryan, Misty (Mike), Tessa, Thomas, Brittany and Benjamin. Great-grandchildren; Justice, Dannika, Audrick, Jocelyn and Seth. Raymond also leaves to mourn 10 siblings, (Nelson Lemieux), Paul (Ruth), Adrien (Pauline), Roger (Shirley), Jerome (Mary), Maurice (Ilene), Sr. Juliette Thévenot sgm, Romeo (Ellen), Cecile (Antoine) Grenier, Eva (Dansereau), Mgr. Albert Thévenot M.Afr. In addition, numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and close friends. Raymond was predeceased by parents Paul Thévenot and Yvonne (née Girouard); sister Yvonne Lemieux and sister-in-law Doreen Thévenot and brother-in-law Hervé Dansereau, and by two nieces Marcia Thévenot and Theresa Thévenot Allec. Dad served 25 years in the RCAF as an Airframe Technician with multiple part-time jobs. His most enjoyable jobs were when he owned and operated two businesses; Carman Theater jointly owned with his Uncle Delphis and Silver Heights Cleaners. His last employment was a Commissionaire at the RCMP building in Winnipeg and retired graciously at the age of 70. Dad loved his family very much and enjoyed socializing with family and people in general. It pleased him to give his spare change to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition, it gave Dad great pleasure placing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren on his chest while they fell asleep together. Dads faith was a very important part of his life and led him to volunteer in many organizations. On July 9, 2013, there will be a viewing from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. following with Prayers at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue. Mass will be celebrated on July 10, 2013 at St. Charles Catholic Parish on 320 St. Charles Street R3K 1V2. Viewing starts at 2:30 p.m. and Mass will commence at 3:00 p.m. At the family's request, please no perfumes or scents.
