I only today learned of Mary's passing. I have many fond memories of Mary & of the rest of the family while they were in Russell. Mary & her daughter Elsie were customers at my beauty salon but they became my friends, too. I remember many times in the family kitchen at the hotel when Mary put a heaping plate of her delicious perogies in front of me & invited me to "Eat!" The world is a poorer place without Mary but I feel lucky to have known her. My deepest sympathies to Elsie, Peter, the girls and the rest of the family. Please accept my deepest sympathy from me to all the family. I met Mary on different occasions throughout the years and will remember her as a kind, gentle and smiling lady. She was a classy lady in my eyes. I know she will be missed. R.I.P Mary. God Bless. - Posted by: Kristine Palsson (Friend) on: Jul 16, 2013

I worked at IBEC several years ago and so enjoyed my time there with Mary. She was always so warm and sweet to me. I have thought of her often over the past few years. I am sorry to hear of her passing though I know by conversations we had that she is happy in loving peace. - Posted by: Kat (friend) on: Jul 14, 2013
