BERNICE ANNE BOULTON Bernice Anne Boulton, born June 28, 1951, daughter of Anne and John R. Kehler, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is survived by her daughter and son, Christa Boulton (grandchildren William and Edward) and Stephen Boulton Jr., her mother Anne Kehler, brothers Raymond and Gerald, and her sister Sandra Rajkumar. Bernice was an exceptional whit who was always first or second in the class and a lover of books throughout her life. Bernice spent many years as a retail sales associate at the Eaton's department store on Portage Avenue, first working with the pet department and later in housewares. In recent years her attachment and fondness for her grandchildren always brought her great joy. She enjoyed the outdoors, tending her plants and always remained steadfast in her love of wild daisies, black-eyed-susans and always held a special place for a favourite lily-pond. May she forever rest in peace. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of E5 at St. Boniface for their dedication, professionalism, kindness and the respect that they provided for Bernice and her family in her final days. A small memorial reception, to celebrate her life and legacy, will be held on Saturday, July 13 at 2:30 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery). • Josh and I knew Bernice and Steve around the time they got married. We had so much fun playing cards, listening to music and sharing dinners. We laughed a lot and had a great time together. She will be in our hearts forever. Love you Bernice! - Posted by: Barb and Josh Halprin (Old friends) on: Jul 10, 2013

  • Although Bernice was not fond of the water, she loved the family cottage at Star Lake. Maybe that is where she got to love daisies and black eyed Susans, as they grew profusely around the cottage. She was a very cautious and loving mother. Her little ones were never out of her sight. Bernice was a lovely girl, both inside and out. I liked her very much. She will be sadly missed. I hope you are picking daisys in heaven Dear Bernice. - Posted by: Daryl Jackson (Friend ( my husband's cousin's former wife )) on: Jul 10, 2013
