Predeceased by son John Sand. She was a grandmother and great-grandmother. Dot did many things in her life. She worked with little children at Norwood United Church. She loved little children. She loved to sing, dance, swim and act. Dot loved her many years at Grand Beach, Manitoba in the summer season with her family. A special "thanks" to all staff at Tache Nursing Home. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Winnipeg. We have been friends and neighbors with Dot and Chris since 1977 at Grand Beach. We would hear Dot singing on their back deck nearly every day in the summer and she was always such a gracious hostess at their cabin. Our heartfelt thoughts go out to everyone in the family, especially to Chris.
