MOLLY ELIZABETH SCHULTIESS (nee BEITZ) 1915 - 2013 It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Left with many fond memories of Molly are her son John Schultiess and wife Jean (Sarnia, ON); granddaughters Elizabeth and Katherine; son Rob Schultiess (Gimli, MB); granddaughter Samantha (Sirtonski) and husband Joseph; great-granddaughter Olivia; great-grandson Carter; sister Mary Yunyk (Winnipeg); and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was predeceased in 2001 by her daughter, Penny Schultiess. Molly was born March 6, 1915 in Winnipeg. She grew up in the north end of Winnipeg with her five brothers and two sisters. She loved to play cards, go to the casino, and most of all travel (especially Sarnia, Hawaii, and Las Vegas). Through her life Molly was a good wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She was a great cook but she was most famous for her baking, especially lemon tarts which she was always requested to bring to any function. In keeping with our Mother's wishes, there will just be a small family gathering to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, Molly loved her "grand-dogs" with her fondest wish being that any donations you may wish to make will be given in her name to the Winnipeg Humane Society or any animal shelter of your choice.
