We are saddened at the loss of Ken, a true friend and companion. Our thoughts are with Barb and the family as they start the next stage in their lives, supported by his wonderful memories. He was a joy to be with, be it the Sperling bonspiel, Carman Fair, or doing crop check in the pickup. A visit with Ken was always such a positive event, filled with meaningful conversation, plenty of laughter and alway ending with a song. "I'd walk a million miles for one of your smiles." Rest in peace my friend......Chip And Lorraine Hand - Posted by: Chip and Lorraine Hand (Friends) on: Jul 22, 2013

Sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I still remember the great times at the farm in Homewood, when Ken asked the boys to mow the lawn and no one wanted to do it. I volunteered and Ken said it takes a city boy to think it's fun, when his sons considered it work. I also have great memories with his MOM and the rest of the family. Our prayers are with Barb and the family. May God bless you and keep in his heart. - Posted by: Larry and Joan Kraitberg (Friends) on: Jul 16, 2013

It was wonderful to meet Lynseys' Grandfather at her wedding. It was a joy to see the love he had for his family and the reflection of that love for him. May those wonderful memories brighten your dark hours and bring you comfort in the days to come.
