SYLVIA SOPHIE ANDERSON (nee WATSON) April 29, 1952 - July 19, 2013 Today our family faces an abyss; a deep void left by the loss of a beloved wife, a devoted mother, a loving grandma and a spirited sister. Sylvia succumbed to irreversible heart disease and diabetes on a late July afternoon, in the tender embrace of her husband Collin, her children Debbie and Billy, their families and her sisters and their families. Loved and admired gloriously truly a heroic life force! Sylvia lived a life filled with trials that would daunt the strongest, slay the wildest and bring the bravest to their knees. She faced this with dignity and celebrated every day, reminding us how she had beaten the odds for over 40 years. Left to celebrate her beautiful life are her devoted husband Collin, her children Debbie (Richard Mantik), Hanna, McKelvey, Samantha; Billy (Tabitha), Katarina, Shannon, Sharon; grandson Joshua and his mother Candace; sisters Ingrid (Bill Ward), Lorraine (Marty Schlichting), Elvera (Marcial Hinojosa) and Vivien (Bruce Laudin) and their families along with Sylvia's brother-in-law Carl. Her parents Judith and Edmund Watson, her in-laws Edward and Rose Anderson, her brother-in-law Thomas Inglis and her grandsons Brandon and Taylor predeceased Sylvia. Please join us in a service to be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013 officiated by Pastor Bill Watson, to be held at the Brunkild Memorial Hall, Hwy 3 and PR 305, 20 minutes from McGillivray and the Perimeter.
