Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE KOLOCHUK The family announces the sudden passing of Anne Kolochuk on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at home in Dauphin. The eldest daughter of 10 children was born to Bill and Mary Fediuk, December 4, 1933 in Weiden, MB. Anne attended school in Weiden. Anne married Peter Kolochuk October 19, 1956. They moved to Winnipeg where they resided for 45 years. She enjoyed working with the family construction business doing the accounting and planning new house designs. Anne was recently predeceased by her beloved husband Peter on May 29, 2013. They were married for 56 years. Anne will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Diane (Ken), grandson Jeremy (Jennifer), brothers Peter (Margaret), Mike, and Harry (Nellie), and many nieces, nephews and friends. Anne was also predeceased by her son-in-law George, her parents Mary and Bill Fediuk, and siblings John, Steve, Eva, Nick, Alex and Angulla. Anne and Pete relocated to the Dauphin area to fulfill their retirement plans which included building a new home in Dauphin. Anne was an excellent homemaker. She was immaculate and incredibly organized. Anne had fun bowling for years. She enjoyed sewing, and loved doing crafts like ceramics and paper tole. Everyone looked forward to Anne's entertaining. She was an amazing cook and loved baking. Her garden was always spectacular and Anne pickled and canned every year. A funeral service will be officiated by Father Isidore Dziadyk at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2013. A luncheon will follow in the reception room. I was sad to hear that Auntie Anne passed away. I best remember her for all of the crafts she made and the wonderful clothes she used to give us when I was a young girl. I am so sorry to hear of Auntie Anne's passing. My grandmother (Beatrice Pick) always cherished the beautiful paper tole peacock pictures that Anne made for her.
