Anne lived for her family - she very much enjoyed company. She enjoyed cooking, baking, preserving and her plants and flowers. I am pleased to have had the opportunity to be her friend. She is gone to a better place but not forgotten. We will miss her. - Posted by: Ollie Schroeder (Daughter-in-law's grandma) on: Aug 01, 2013

Dear Lorie, Linda, Janet, Jaylene, Bob and Audrey - just heard the news of Baba's passing. What comes to memory is the yummy deep fried perogies she would make and we would munch on at the lake. What a cook! It's amazing she stayed in her home for so long - obviously a strong woman. My thoughts are with you all and I am sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Linda March (Friend of the Family) on: Jul 31, 2013

I am very sad to hear of Mrs Shmigelsky's passing. My husband and I visited her at her home only one month ago and she was busy as usual getting her pots ready for planting. I hope she got to see her flowers bloom for the last time. I admired her attitude to life and her stamina; she was a lovely lady and a good friend to my late mother and father. May she keep planting her garden in heaven. - Posted by: Livia Doidge ( Phillips ) (friend) on: Jul 30, 2013
