Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN TKACHUK Peacefully on July 28, 2013, John passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 91 years. John is survived by his sister Marion; sister-in-law Stella; nieces Delores and Eleanor, and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Lena and William; brother Peter, and sister Anne. John was born in Stuartburn, MB on June 14, 1922. He worked in the trucking industry for many years and also for Luke's Electrical Machinery. John loved nature, some of his hobbies included fishing, hunting and making his own clothes (hooded jackets and slacks). He enjoyed driving around southern Manitoba and had his own hobby farm in Sundown, MB. Prayers will be said on Friday, August 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rosa, MB. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery.
