Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAZEL RUBY SCHOFIELD (nee KREAMER) On Wednesday, August 7, 2013 with her family at her side at the spunky age of 90, Hazel passed away peacefully. She was predeceased by her husband Bobby Schofield. She is survived by her sister Maimie Pfeifer (Ray); sisters-in-law Mildred Kreamer and Helen Kreamer, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and numerous friends. Hazel was born in Pembina County and spent the first few years of her life in the USA before moving to Netley, MB with her family. She spent the later part of her adult life in Winnipeg. She was a very hard worker and worked at several different locations throughout her life. She spoke often and fondly of her years at the Marlborough Hotel. She also enjoyed spending time at her cabin at Breezy Point and formed many strong friendships out there. She was extremely active right up until her passing. She especially enjoyed going for "a cup of tea" at the McPhillips Street Station Casino with her sister Maimie. Her infectious laugh and zest for life will be missed by all who knew her. A Celebration of Hazel's Life will take place in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, MB on Monday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Pfeifer, Barry Pfeifer, Danny Rogoski, Larry Rogoski, Bruce Kreamer, Grant Kreamer, Ray Nelson, Ronnie Nelson and Brandon Palmer.
