Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE T. MARK October 3, 1929 August 3, 2013 Peacefully, at the Health Sciences Centre with family by his side, George T. Mark passed away at the age of 83 years. George was predeceased by his mother Irene Ricker and by his first wife Florence Mark. He is survived by his beloved of 30 years, Terry (Theresa McLeod); three sons Tom (Susan), Warren (Patti) and Doug (Tina); daughter-in-law Imelda; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, aunt Geri Prefontaine, and two brothers-in-law and their spouses. George was born in Winnipeg and was employed with the Winnipeg Transit for 31 years. He was a long time member of Three Pillars Masonic Lodge and latterly Phoenix Masonic Lodge. He was also a long time member and past president of the Khartum Shrine 101 Unit. In keeping with George's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. If friends so wish, memorial donations in George's honour may be made to the Khartum Shrine Transportation Fund, c/o Khartum Shrine House, 1155 Wilkes Ave., Winnipeg, R3P 1B9.
