Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDALMAR RUCK January 19, 1929 -August 8, 2013 On August 8, 2013, after a long illness which she battled with grace and humour, Dalmar Ruck passed away. Dal lived a full life with many hobbies, including gardening, fishing, camping and art. She especially liked traveling and visited 22 countries with her husband Derrick. She was a great friend to many, and always had a shoulder to lean on with great advice. She will always be remembered for her quick wit and of course her curry! She leaves behind three daughters, Jen (Alan), Sue (late Tony) (Brock), and Tina (Don); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who gave her a new lease on life. She wanted to thank Marc for the love and care he gave her over the last ten years. She also wanted to thank Ester, Joanna, Edna, Donna, John and all the home workers who assisted her; and especially wanted to thank all three daughters of whom she was extremely proud. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements, 204-775-2220.

Susan, Tina, Jen & Mark, I am so sorry for the loss of Mom and Nanny. I will miss your mom for all the fun we had and things we did for 40 years. We were able to share some special moments and family gatherings with Nanny Ruck, as everyone called her. She is a kind and loving woman.
