DERRICK GLENN CHERNETZ It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many, on August 6, 2013. Derrick will be dearly missed by his parents Glenn and Gloria of OakBank, sister Sherri (Slade) and nephew Ryker. Derrick's passion was writing his music and playing the acoustic guitar. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed being outdoors. A service for Derrick will be announced at a later date. www.seasonsfunerals.ca

  • I was very sorry to hear of Derrick's passing. He was a good friend of my brother Chris's through junior high and high school. He was my brother's nicest friend. He was always polite, kind, and friendly, and always welcome at our home. When our younger brother passed away suddenly 10 years ago, Derrick was one of the first people to phone my parents and offer condolences. Again, we are very sorry for your loss and we pray that God will comfort you during this very difficult time.
