Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Basil died too soon. He enjoyed life and could always look on the bright side even when things may not have been going his way. Good-bye Basil. You'll be missed. - Posted by: Cindy (Reid) on: Oct 03, 2013

  • Basil was a true friend who will truly be missed. A fixture in front of the Princeton apartments, a caring neighbour who enjoyed telling jokes and watching the fountain. Basil loved to be outside in summer or winter just enjoying the outdoors. I will always remember my good friend whenever I sit on the bench out front of our apartment. - Posted by: Gilles Jolicoeur & Becky Gigolyk (Friends and neighbours ) on: Aug 14, 2013

  • Basil you will always be remembered from your yrs at California Fruits, always stopping to say hi to me and to my family with a beaming smile always.....Basil's family and good friend Sandra...may you find peace in his passing and know that he never left you, that you carry him with you everyday.....May you Rest in Peace Basil - Posted by: Carol Chubaty (Friend) on: Aug 14, 2013

  • Basil was indeed a very special person. as his brother Ray said ... he gave and didn't ask anything in return. He worked hard all his life and did not even get to collect his pension. This is sad. Basil was defined by his work. He was lost when he wasn't working. Basil would always scour the Obituaries and he would know everyone who had passed on. He never missed a friend's service. Well you're up there now Basil... I'll bet you're saying hi to all the friends and family that went before you. R.I.P. Basil. Your longtime friend and family ... Sandra. - Posted by: sandra forgan (longtime freind of basils") on: Aug 13, 2013
